The beat goes on – Khushbu Thadani

The beat goes on

When I was younger, one thing which I used to take pride in was my music knowledge.  I was the go-to  person for new music.  Anytime a new hip hop/ R&B song was out, it wasn’t long before I had downloaded it (and knew the lyrics).  It pains me to admit that such is not the case anymore. A virus caused from downloading combined with living in Mumbai means my current track record isn’t very impressive! Although I am still coming to terms with it, I have no choice but to rely on others for new music 🙁 .

Fortunately my ever-so-kind cousin Karishma* recently took sympathy on me hooked me up which means my workouts have subsequently been phenom.  I guess that’s what happens when you make a KILLER playlist.  Some of the songs have been recycled from past playlists but here’s what has been motivating me to get to the gym this week:

*I promise to big you up too if you make me a CD 😀

2 Thoughts on “The beat goes on”

  • Love the playlist!! Give Me Everything- Neyo f/ Pitbull gets me pumping up the speeds when running and you have to get Commander – Kelly Rolland, gives me so much energy at the end when I want to stop my run and makes me going for longer.

  • Thanks for the playlist-this will definitely make my runs more enjoyable! Another good one is “Rolling in the Deep” by Adele! It really gets my legs moving 🙂
