Khushbu’s passion in nutrition & wellbeing soon after embarking in her own journey towards her best self. Peaking the scales at 85 kilos, Khushbu grew up obese up until the age of 16. Realizing that losing weight would never be easier than the present moment, Khushbu committed to clean up her diet and get her weight down to a healthy range. After dabbling with various quick-fix ‘fad’ diets, she quickly grasped that the only way to make long-lasting progress was through sustainable lifestyle changes. By focusing on portion control, creating healthier habits and developing a love for exercise, Khushbu saw the numbers consistently drop and her body change. Since day 1, there has been no turning back. In her journey towards losing over 30 kgs, Khushbu has experienced how eating a better diet transcended into every area of her life. From thriving health, boosted energy levels, improved self-confidence, a strong sense of discipline and more, her motivation to nourish her body to the highest standards continues to rise.
After graduating from King’s College London with a BSc in Business Management, Khushbu knew that her real passion resided in the wellness space. Consequently she went on to qualify as a Nutrition Specialist at Future Fit Ltd in the UK in 2010. With a mission to empower, educate and impact others to essentially live their best life, Khushbu set up her nutritional consulting business K Weigh in 2013. Since then Khushbu has worked with a number of clients both in India & across the globe to help them achieve their wellness goals, improve their relationship with food and feel better about their bodies. Rather than promote restrictive practices & short-term results, Khushbu focuses on making lifestyle changes with her clients to ensure that the journey is both realistic and enjoyable. Despite changing up her diet and weight loss journey, food has always remained a forefront for Khushbu. While food has turned into something to fear, Khushbu is committed to promoting the notion that it should be celebrated. More than just nourish our body, food is a simple pleasure that ties people together, shapes new memories and feeds our souls. By focusing on wholesome, quality & sustainable ingredients, Khushbu strongly believes that food functions far more than a basic need. To tie her passions of food & wellness, Khushbu recently graduated from Le Cordon Bleu (London) in 2017. With a diploma in Gastronomy, Nutrition and Food Trends, Khushbu looks forward to soon entering the food space. To learn more how to work with Khushbu, please click here.

Hey Khushboo, I read your story in Aquarius Magazine, 2 years is a long time but the results are really great. Congratulations for it, although I read you are a trainer now, hope you can advise me on my query below.
I am also into wholewheat breads, roti, dal and vegetables, low-fat foods like K-Kellogg cornflakes and all….
But I get confused what to eat between meals because I eat every two, since you have lost so much you can surely advise me over it.
All the best for the future and congrats for your enormous weight loss and your new life….
Chandni.
Hi Chandni
I have seen your pics on google plus, I would suggest you one thing if these are your recent pics ” Please don’t go any diet plan, because you are perfect believe me!!” I am really impressed to see your smile and eyes. If you go for diet you will loose ur smile also.
However if you lethargic go for fitness training and maintain your fitness. You can do it so by starting gym or swimming or both together alternate days.
Hey fellow Khushboo! 🙂 I am impressed with your blog, your will and your resolve. I have been asked to lose about 10 kilos by the doc ‘cos of PCOD (this was a long while back) and I have only just started a brisk walk+running routine.
Personally, I think desi food is quite healthy once you learn to control the oil quotient and only when you don’t allow mommies near the food :p Nice ‘seeing’ you!
sigh, something went wrong while I was posting. Hopefully, I fixed the errors here.
Hi Khushboo (great name btw 🙂 )! Thanks for stopping by and leaving such a nice comment! Losing weight definitely helps with PCOD so well done on your new exercise routine! Totally agree about the Indian food and weight loss being in the same sentence, the key is portion control! Good luck!
Khushboo I can’t believe I stumbled upon your blog while commenting on Courtney’s blog right below you! ACS alums in the blog world hahaha… you look amazing and your story is great! So glad to see you doing well! I look forward to reading more about your journey!

Wow. You look amazing in the purple dress and pink lengha. I started off on WW and then did Atkins for a quick fix, and then South Beach. I found they’re all good in their own way, but Atkins is hard to stick to. Very inspiring.
Thank so much, that’s really nice of you to say :)! I agree about Atkins- I lasted 2 weeks…even though South Beach is very similar, I think it’s a lot better diet as it incorporates fruits & veggies!
I just added you to my blogroll – I really like reading your blog. 🙂
Thanks SO much- really appreciate it :)!
Hi Khushboo,
Can you recommend some vegeterian ( egg is ok) options for low / no carb dinner..

I love your story and I am really digging your blog. We have a lot of the same feelings on food, and it’s refreshing to find someone with a similar thought process. Eat real food, indulge in moderation when you want to, be good to yourself, enjoy life, be active, love what you do.
Thank you so much, Meghan…glad to see that we are totally on the same wavelength :)!
