Kellogg’s Special K(ause) – Khushbu Thadani

Kellogg’s Special K(ause)

A lot of things don’t make sense to me.  For example, I just can’t comprehend how or why people forego breakfast. It is undoubtedly my favorite time of the day.  Although I used to be a breakfast skipper growing up, such is not the case anymore.  I’ve typically worked out before breakfast so that alone has me on a high.  But even without the endorphins, I now look forward to it the night before, wake up early enough to ensure I can savor each bite, and feel ready to conquer the world after consuming it.   What’s not to love, I’m kick-starting my metabolism and setting the tone for my day.  It’s also a good time to take in the peace and think about the day ahead at work.  More than that, I love breakfast foods and can contently eat it all day long (as confirmed by today’s lunch 😛).  Oats, yogurt, fruit, cereal, granola, eggs, smoothies, pancakes- love it all!

Other than ‘profess’ my love for the greatest meal in the world, I wanted to share this link with you. It’s a noble cause by Kellogg’s to help share one million breakfasts by the start of the 2011-2012 academic year.  By simply sharing what you ate for breakfast, Kellogg’s will share breakfast with kids in school who might otherwise miss out.  It really is that easy.  Breakfast brings me so much joy daily which is why I’m tooting Kellogg’s endeavor.  I don’t do charity as such but I know doing something small like this daily will make a world of difference.  I hope you feel the same way, and let’s help a sistah (or brotha) out.

What’s your favorite breakfast?

  • Awesome job spreading the word! I’ll be sure to submit a pic of my breakfast! And my favorite breakfast is probably cookie dough muffins (a la CCK)!!! So freakin’ good with a cold glass of milk!

  • Recently I have been indulging in PB toast with a mashed banana. But my all time favorite breakfast would be cereal+sliced banana with PB 🙂

  • My favorite breakfast ever has to be the french toast peanut butter and banana sandwich you made with a sprinkle of choc chips!!! Soo many other faves including pb and toast, oatmeal pancakes or yogurt with cereal, berries, and peanut butter – mmmmmm cant wait till next week so i can have breakfast – really missing my favorite meal!!!!!!
