My Current Digs part III – Khushbu Thadani

My Current Digs part III

1) Chia Seeds: just when I thought I had it covered with flaxseeds pssh! Check out the various benefits and ways to incorporate chia seeds daily

2) Alfonso Mangoes: yeah baby, the heat in Mumbai only means one thing: mango season is baaack! There’s no stopping these babies. Alfonso mangoes are so sweet and flavorful that they put every other mango variety to shame!  I just ate one in the form of a parfait and well, it tasted pretty darn parfait to me! 😆

3) 9 Bars: I don’t really do the whole ‘bar for a meal’ thang EVER but combined with a side of veggies, these are great for the ‘I have no idea what to eat for lunch’ days.  Containing an all-natural, seed-dominant ingredient list, 9g protein, and 7.5g MUFAs, these bars are more 10/10 than 9 ;)!  Oh and considering they’re topped with carob, they kinda taste like a baked good from Starbucks.  I’m just sayin’…

4) Waist Belts. I know, I know: I’m slightly late but I am officially on the waist belt bandwagon.  You better believe I stocked up in Singapore. I love how they instantly create a silhouette despite wearing a shapeless top. They also never fail to give an outfit a finished look.  Tip for those with a tendency to overeat: wear a waist-belt!!! 😉

5) Nuttzo: Ok so by now you probably know I’m slightly obsessed with peanut butter. Okay I lie, my day is incomplete without a spoonful or 3 😉 !  Pricing in at £14 a jar, this nut butter ain’t cheap but it’s so worth it. With such an epic ingredient list (Organic Valencia Peanuts, Organic Cashews, Organic Almonds, Organic Brazilian Nuts, Organic Sunflower Seeds, Organic Flax Seeds, Organic Hazelnuts, Kosher Salt, Vitamin E Natural Tocopherols to preserve freshness), clearly I’m getting my money’s worth…and keeping my taste buds happy :).

6) Child Pose in Yoga:  as indicated by name, this literally is child’s play compared to the various intricate yoga poses out there.  That being said, getting in the fetal position always provides my lower back, quad muscles, and arms with a fantastic stretch.

7) Panasonic Hair Styling Brush: hair straighteners and I had a great thing going for a long while. I kept going back for more even though I knew it wasn’t healthy for me. I finally got fed up: my hair became super flat and my ends were splitting faster than a banana.  Then came along this brush: it treats me well and gets the job done pretty damn fast ;)!
