Please pass the salt – Khushbu Thadani

Please pass the salt

I don’t know what came over me yesterday but I woke up with a major sodium craving.  I had an omelette as part of breakfast but surprisingly that didn’t do the trick.  So I figured, there’s no cuisine better than Chinese to help sort this craving out.  In fact, I think I’m one of the few who actually love MSG in my Chinese food.  If a Chinese lunch can’t be followed by an afternoon snooze, then what’s the point of eating it at all.  I swear that the nap is part of the whole experience.  Anyway before I go completely off tangent, I settled on making a wasabi baked tofu with brown rice and  cashew nut stir fry.  It tasted awesome and  I think I’ve had my sodium fix for a fair few days now.  I’ve posted the recipe in the recipe section and it’s definitely one to try if, like me, you are nuts about nuts ;).
